A runoff election deciding who will be the next representative of District 6 on the Madison City Council is set for Tuesday.
Vying for the seat will be Erica White and Scott Harbour, who both managed to defeat incumbent council member Karen Denzine in August's municipal election but failed to clear the 50% threshold needed to declare an official winner in the race.
White, a court-appointed juvenile advocate, won 45.7% of the vote with 700 ballots cast in her favor in August, while Harbour, a former member of the Madison City Zoning Board of Adjustment, earned 34.3% of voter support with 512 ballots.
Residents of District 6 will vote at the Madison Public Library, located at 142 Plaza Boulevard.
Polling will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
