Game of the day (boys): Aliceville 44, St. Luke’s 43. Tyjarian Williams’ free throw with just over three seconds left provided the final margin.
Game of the day (girls): Clements led through three quarters but Trinity Christian stormed back to take a 52-48 win in the Class 3A title game.
Performance of the day (boys): Jacksonville’s John Broom was the best player on the floor in Friday night’s Class 4A win over Westminster Christian. Broom was sensational on both ends of the floor.
Performance of the day (girls): Prattville Christian’s post players CoCo Thomas and Hannah Jones combined for 52 points, 31 rebounds, six steals, three assists and three blocked shots.
