Huntsville radio NewsTalk 770 AM/92.5 FM WVNN host Dale Jackson is putting his money where his mouth is.
Jackson is offering $1,000 for a photo of the clandestine Cullman "Sundown" sign. He's calling it "The Jackson Cullman Sundown Sign Challenge."

Controversy erupted after Southern Living listed Cullman as the No. 10 cutest southern Christmas town.
Several TikTok influencers then suggested Cullman is a "Sundown Town," where black people are not welcome.

AL(dot)com published a story focusing on Cullman's alleged racist reputation, suggesting there were once signs that read, "N***er Don't Let the Sun Go Down on You in this Town."
In his quest for the truth, Jackson said he would give $1,000 to anyone who can produce a photo of a sign.
"I'm going to give you $1,000 if you can give me a picture of this sign from the seventies on, OK?" Jackson said in a video. "I'm going to be kind and even go to the 60s."
Jackson criticized AL(dot)com for its take on the story.
"The only reason they brought this story up is because somebody said something nice about Cullman," he said. "That's it. That was the entire catalyst for the underpaid, pathetic loser clowns that work at AL(dot)com to say, 'Huh, how can we tear down this city over this nice thing over this nice nod? How can we destroy them?"
"Well, all they did was once again destroy their own credibility, which they have almost none, but that's okay," the radio host continued. "They can't prove it. They won't even try. I will try to prove it. So take advantage. Get $1,000."
