Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies raided multiple Mexican restaurants across central and eastern Alabama on Tuesday.
According to FBI Mobile, search warrants were served as part of the immigration enforcement operations by the Gulf of America Homeland Security Task Force. Reports from social media and multiple sources show ICE raiding Mexican restaurants in Auburn, Wetumpka and Prattville.
Law enforcement could be seen boarding up the El Patron restaurant in Wetumpka on Tuesday.

Various El Patron locations and other Mexican restaurants were reportedly raided by ICE throughout the area on Tuesday.
