An illegal alien has been arrested in Morgan County following an investigation into local online sexual predators.

Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division apprehended Raul Ledesma Aleman, 47, on Saturday during "Operation Fright Night." According to the department, the law enforcement action focused on identifying suspects who engaged in sexually explicit conversations with children online and traveled to meet a child for sex.

"Focusing on catching those who would prey on our children is a top priority," said Sheriff Ron Puckett. "Whether it is online or in person, we will continue to develop ways to intercept these threats. I'm proud of our team and the time they have dedicated to these types of operations."

Aleman has been charged with human trafficking, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child. He has been placed on an ICE detainer.

Aleman was one of four men arrested in the operation. All four subjects were transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. They are being held without bond.

The other three men arrested are Barry Canaan Cook, 36, Terrance Louis Carter, 33, and Logan Micahl Hansard, 28, all of Decatur.

Due to the nature of the charges, each man will have an Aniah's Law hearing to determine whether bond will be denied.
