BON SECOUR — After 20 years in the same location, The Tin Top Restaurant and Oyster Bar reopened Friday evening in a new building in Bon Secour.
Owner Bob Hallmark told 1819 News the new location would seat around 250 patrons. An outdoor bar faces the Bon Secour River and offers guests a true, quaint "Lower Alabama" atmosphere.
The Tin Top, a local favorite, has become wildly popular over the past two decades as tourists learn about what was once the area's best-kept secret.
Hallmark said the chefs at the restaurant take special care and time preparing their steak and local seafood offerings.
The new location is at 17451 County Rd. 49 S. Bon Secour. Here is a look:
