Shelby County prosecutors said he shot a man at a home on Camden Cove Circle, and the victim survived. He pleaded guilty and was given a 20-year split sentence with five years to serve and two years probation. He was set to be released from prison in November 2025. His probation was revoked after a February violation, but he was released again in March.
Broadnax is considered innocent until proven guilty.
