A new day is dawning in America, says U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn), particularly for new and growing businesses thanks to the anticipated policies of President-elect Donald Trump.
Tuberville said Wednesday on Fox Business Network's "Kudlow" that Trump is scheduled to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning, a ceremonial gesture that is a positive sign of things to come.
"It's a new morning in America, Larry. Looking forward to President Trump ringing that bell," Tuberville said after host Larry Kudlow explained how the stock market and consumer confidence were "soaring" since Trump's November 5 win.
Tuberville continued, "I'm getting calls all the time from small businesses back in my state of Alabama. They are so glad that these regulations and these taxes will be adjusted. I mean, this [Biden] administration, with all this climate hoax nonsense, they almost put people under. And there's still people trying to dig themselves out. But there's hope at the end of the day. We see the light at the end of the tunnel. President Trump is going to be a blessing. It's Christmas, Larry, and new things are coming for the American people."
