Spring college football games at Jacksonville State and UNA will take place on Thursday night, with the first play scheduled for 6 p.m. in each contest.
Rich Rodriguez's Jacksonville State team begins play in Conference USA in the fall. The Gamecocks are coming off an ASUN championship in Rodriguez's first season at Jacksonville State. The team's scrimmage on Thursday night is slated to last about an hour.
UNA will conclude Brent Dearmon's first spring practice as the program's head coach with Thursday's spring game at the program's practice field. Fireworks will follow the game.
On Saturday, Troy and South Alabama will hold spring games in their stadium. South Alabama's game will begin at 10: 30 a.m., and Troy's is set to start at 2 p.m.
