Jacksonville State will open the 2023 football season with its Conference USA opener on August 26 at home against UTEP.

The Gamecock inaugural Conference USA season also includes an October filled with non-Saturday games. Jacksonville State will play two games on Tuesday, two more on Wednesday and one on Thursday.

In addition to the UTEP game, the Gamecocks home schedule includes C-USA games against and non-conference contests against Liberty, Western Kentucky and Louisiana Tech and non-conference games against East Tennessee State and Eastern Michigan.

Jacksonville State finished 9-2 overall and  5-0 in the ASUN during Rich Rodriguez’s first season as the program’s head coach. The Gamecocks will play their first season as a FBS team in 2023.
