Jared Hudson, a business owner and former Navy SEAL, raised $209,721.97 in June for his 2026 campaign for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate.

According to a campaign finance report filed on Tuesday, Hudson spent $8,596.23 and has $201,125.74 in cash on hand.

Hudson is running for the seat currently held by U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn), who is running for governor instead of seeking re-election.

“I’m a born-again believer in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s Him I want to thank first and foremost for the outpouring of support in such a short amount of time since we launched this campaign. I grew up in a humble environment. We did not chase money nor did we seek influence. We aimed for greater heights and that was to serve. It’s why I took an oath as a Navy SEAL, as well as a law enforcement officer, to fight for those who could not fight for themselves and defend the citizens of the greatest country in history,” Hudson said in a statement to 1819 News.

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise), who is considering a Senate run, reported raising $123,917.95 for his House campaign account in the second quarter of 2025. He spent $53,448.98 over the same time period and has cash-on-hand of $252,767.55.
