Notice with great benefit that the headline of this piece does not read, "What further damage could Joe Biden do…?" There is a reason for that wording. Many folks now (belatedly) agree that Joe Biden is not making the decisions in the Oval Office. He is too infirmed and maundering to make decisions – good or bad.
Whether he knows it or not, Biden has handlers and influencers who make the decisions for him. He simply signs the documents or has the auto-signing gadget do the signing.
The things done by the behind-the-scenes Biden handlers (whoever they are) are inflicting great damage on our nation and leaving a mess for the incoming second Trump administration.
The deadline for Biden damage is January 20, or maybe January 19– if you believe his handlers are not brazen enough to actually ram through a ruse on inauguration day morning, before the noon oath of office. Could they? Yes. Would they? Your guess is as bad as mine.
Already, the lame-duck Biden administration has done the following damaging things that we know about – and likely other damage that we do not know about:
Commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 convicted murderers on federal death row. Victims, their families and deterrence of future crime be damned. If this action does not convince folks that the Biden/Harris administration was/is dangerous for America, what would possibly convince them?
Tried to ram through Congress a giant wasteful spending Omnibus package disguised as continuing resolutions and added in Democrat pet projects at the midnight hour. Thank goodness for Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and other outspoken conservatives who led the blocking of the Biden billion-dollar boondoggle and got through an imperfect but infinitely better plan.
Pardoned first son Hunter Biden for all crimes, committed or not, over the past 10 years. This was the most unheard-of pardon I ever heard of. It is constitutionally overbroad. Maybe someone with legal standing to sue should challenge it. Whaddya think?
Tried to ram through senate confirmation of eleventh-hour appointments of federal judges, who would have lifetime tenure. The Biden damage is the gift that keeps on giving.
Failed to properly investigate and explain the hundreds of drone sightings over military installations and elsewhere.
I could keep on listing examples of Biden's damaging actions since the Trump election victory, but I think you get the point.
As far as damaging things the Bidenites could do specifically aimed at the state of Alabama. Those could include taking further steps to commit the site of the Space Force headquarters to Colorado, making it harder for the Trump administration to move it to Huntsville, where it should have been, according to all studies.
There are hundreds of federal and military programs in Alabama. Our congressional delegation will need to keep a watchful eye on these to prevent the departing Bidenites from taking potshots at the Red State of Alabama before January 20.
The important thing, and the concerning thing, is what further damage could the Bidenites do in their remaining time in the back office? The Biden administration has an expiration date, which is certain—and likely a to-do list—a dangerous to-do list.
Several of the damaging possibilities I thought of, I am hesitant to write about because I don't want to give them any ideas.
Here is one that may be my original thought. I haven't heard anyone else mention it.
Hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters have paraphernalia touting' 47.' Trump 47. Trump 45-47. Caps, T-shirts, bumper stickers, memes. Trump is now slated to become the 47th president on January 20.
What if the Bidenites pull a fast one? Joe Biden gets sick—so sick he cannot continue. (This part would be very easy to stage.) Biden resigns, and Kamala Harris is sworn in as President.
While Harris would remain president only through noon on January 20, she would nevertheless become the 47th president. Harris '47. Donald Trump would become the 48th President on January 20. Trump '48. All those Trump '47 items would be "ruirnt," as we say in the rural South.
Why would the Bidenites want to do this?
To install the first female president ever. They want the first female president to be a liberal Democrat, not a Lara Trump, Katie Britt, Sarah Huckabee Sanders or Kristi Noem.
To allow Harris herself to do some damage by January 20.
To set up Harris for a run for president or governor of California in '28.
To make things troublesome for all those Trump supporters with '47' items. President 47 would now mean Harris, not Trump.
These reasons are more compelling than most reasons that Bidenites have to do things – damaging things.
Biden, handlers and Harris. Exit, stage left.
Come quickly, January 20 at noon.
