U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is doubling down on his strong support for the Trump administration's anti-drug trafficking operations in the Caribbean as Democrats continue to accuse Secretary of War Pete Hegseth of possible war crimes over an alleged incident involving a Venezuelan drug boat on September 2.

Several Senate Democrats — plus U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) — have introduced a war powers resolution to address their concerns about President Donald Trump's tactics, according to Fox Business Network's "The Bottom Line" host Dagen McDowell.

Appearing on the show on Wednesday, Tuberville said America is at war with Venezuela over the drug trade and that these lawmakers were supporting terrorists over their constituents.

The relevant portion begins around 3:40.

"Where were they, Deagan, when Obama had 580 bombings with drones that killed innocent people? Thousands of people. Where were they? And we're talking about one bombing here of a Venezuelan, radical drug boat, and terrorist, that was bombed and people were killed," Tuberville said.

"We need to kill them all. They're killing Americans every day. This is war. This is not just a kick-around social event. This is absolute war against Venezuela and the people down there that are sending drugs here every day. They've done it for tens and tens of years, and they're killing our young people from age 18 to 45. Probably during the time we've talked, there's been two dozen overdoses… Why are we backing these terrorists when we should be backing the American people? President Trump is exactly right. Kill every damn one of them, and we can eradicate this."
