Former Navy SEAL and Senate candidate Jared Hudson praised President Donald Trump's diplomatic approach to conflict globally during an appearance on Fox News Channel's "The Story" on Friday.

"The positive thing about President Trump, what he did in his previous administration, and what he's trying to do right now, is that he's into ending conflicts and ending wars, creating peace deals, and he's not starting any new conflicts," Hudson said.

"For far too long we've had neocons that want to create these forever wars. They think we need to be involved in everything that everybody else is doing. One thing that President Trump has proven, and that I've been really impressed with, is that he is definitely the king of the art of the deal," added Hudson.

Hudson will be facing off against U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise), Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, Morgan Murphy, and Rodney Walker in the upcoming Republican primary for the Senate seat on May 19, 2026. The general election is set for November 3, 2026.
