What is the most treacherous group in America right now?
Terror cells come to mind. Our border was porous during the Biden years, so we know some are here. Radical Islamists are worrisome. Mosques are being built in Texas faster than Dollar Generals are going up across rural Alabama. Venezuelan gangs are still scouring the country and need to be deported.
But as scary as all those groups may be, none are more disconcerting than the AWFULs: affluent, white, female, urban liberals.
These AWFULs were recently discussed in a PJ Media article – the women who “push extreme gender ideology, drag their kids to medicalized gender clinics, and parade them at sexualized drag shows labeled as ‘family-friendly.” They’re also those who are mentally unhinged, running down ICE agents, screaming into their phone cameras, and posting angry videos about Trump.
Yes, they are currently a blight on American society – though I’m still not sold on them being quite as bad as Congress. Citing a recent Cygnal poll, PJ Media reports that 24% of Americans think it’s okay to use criminal action or violence to stop federal immigration enforcement. Many Democrats disagree with this position, yet when narrowing the sample down to white liberal women between 18 and 44, the percentage is 61%.
The article suggests that these women act so terribly because they are chronically miserable, citing a 2024 American Family survey, which found that only 12% of liberal women ages 18-40 felt satisfied in their lives, and they’re “almost three times more likely than conservative women to experience loneliness multiple times a week.” Don’t think I didn’t use this sad statistic as a future warning to my sons.
Sadly, these discouraging statistics are also true of high school girls, the article explains, with depression soaring among liberal teens over the last 15 years, even when controlled for age, education, race and income. This reality may stem from the fact that liberal young women are far less likely to be integrated into traditional American institutions like church and marriage, the article suggests.
This seems very plausible given my personal experience. Whether married or single, as a young woman, my involvement in church while growing in my relationship with the Lord grounded me and gave me a sense of purpose and peace, even amid life’s unavoidable disappointments.
Is it unfair to deem these alt-left women as toxic? Not if they are. Consider that while Iranian women cheer their first shot at freedom in 47 years, American liberal women scream and protest about their oppressive status because they’ve never actually lived under a despot. They’ve never experienced Sharia law or legitimate governmental tyranny. Instead, they’ve had the privilege of driving their Subarus to pick up their Starbucks before the next protest, where they once again scream and demonize men. Many ultra-feminists would like to live in a world without men, yet they fail to consider that their definition of “gender equality” is an unrealistic joke.
Speaking of men, what would we do without them? Men and women are not physical equals. Men can perform feats of strength that women are simply not designed to do. Over the centuries, men have built the buildings, homes, roads, and our vehicles. They have farmed our land and grown our food. Men began the Industrial Revolution in America. They are the ones who fight the wars and the ones we trust will protect our nation.
In 2026, it seems nothing makes liberal women happier than the idea of getting rid of men – except perhaps eliminating law enforcement, secure borders, unwanted babies, and Title IX protections. If all these desires don’t track with mental illness, I don’t know what does.
While I don’t know if there’s much hope for the liberal women in their 30s, 40s and 50s, I do have genuine hope for the current generation of liberal girls in their teens and 20s. You know why? Because young men are leaning conservative and heading back to church – not just in America, but globally. The stories I heard during my church’s recent missions week were nothing short of awe-inspiring. Pastors and missionaries told stories of young men visiting churches in Great Britain, New Zealand, and other countries in numbers not seen in decades. Aslan is on the move. And if the Lord is stirring the hearts of young men across the globe, it is only a matter of time before the young women follow.
May the young women in America learn from their toxic elder sisters and avoid their paths. Refuse to bend the knee to progressivism. Study history. Reject socialism. Find a nice young man to marry. Start a family. Go back to church. Build a happier future than liberalism will ever provide.
