Controversial action thriller “Citizen Vigilante” debuted in the United States on June 19. Directed by German filmmaker Uwe Boll, the movie focuses on average citizen Sanders, who is enraged by rising street crime. Sanders takes it upon himself to exercise vigilante justice against the perpetrators – undocumented migrant criminals across Europe – as local police and judges refuse to arrest them and keep them behind bars.
The film is banned in Germany due to the immense amount of crime perpetrated against German citizens by illegal migrants. According to the director, the film was partially motivated by true criminal cases in Germany and seeks to expose security injustices in Europe. In other words, citizens are paying the price for their governments’ lawlessness.
But you don’t have to look to Europe to see the immense problems that undocumented migrants are bringing to Western nations. You can look in our own American backyards.
In a recent 1819 News opinion piece, Jennifer Oliver O’Connell made a case for the governor’s race coming down to the issue of AI data centers. She’s not wrong. Data centers are a controversial topic right now across the nation and especially in Alabama.
Lack of transparency over these data centers is troubling and Coach Tuberville’s cavalier attitude toward them isn’t helping his gubernatorial campaign. He tends to treat citizens’ concerns as overblown, stating that people have a lot of misconceptions about these facilities. Dismissing the legitimate concerns of his electorate is not a good thing for Tuberville to do. Genuine dialogue should take place regarding the pros and cons of these facilities, and he should listen to voters, lest liberal Doug Jones dominate this topic.
But truly, we have bigger fish to fry, friends. The real issue of this upcoming gubernatorial race is whether Alabama will remain a state committed to the Constitution and its citizenry like Florida … or become like the mosque-inundated Texas. The real concern is what the societal culture of Alabama will look like over the next four years, because the freedoms we are accustomed to across America are rapidly disintegrating.
Nearly 50 mosques have opened in Texas since 2023, Not the Bee reports, stating that “[o]nline data scrappers, which pull information from Google Maps, Facebook, and other directories, list as many as 330 mosques in Texas as of 2025.” According to the article, “This number is repeated in a Democrat-led bill (HCR18) introduced in the Texas House to recognize May 2025 as “Muslim Heritage Month.” It further notes that “‘Texas has the largest Muslim population in the southern U.S.”
Texas, y’all.
On a positive note, we’re not Europe yet. Per historian Bill Federer, by 2030 there will be a majority Muslim population in Europe that will implement Sharia law. Federer notes that many have forgotten that Egypt was primarily Christian for six centuries, something no longer true. Likewise, Constantinople was once the largest Christian city in the world and the largest Christian church in the world was the Hagia Sophia. It was eventually turned into a mosque.
Islam is simply not compatible with the Constitution of the United States. Sharia law goes against every aspect of freedom we claim to cherish. It appears local politicians are either being bought and paid for by wealthy Islamists or are horribly deceived when it comes to the end game of Islam.
The one voice of common sense in the United States for the last eight years just banned Sharia law in his state. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) has signed HB1471, a bill banning Florida courts from applying foreign or religious laws, including Sharia law, so as not to violate constitutional rights. The legislation also expands Florida’s independent authority to designate terrorist organizations.
Alabamians, this November will be a referendum on American livelihood and personal freedom. Which state do you want Alabama to resemble – Florida or Texas?
While neither candidate may be your favorite choice for governor, one believes boundaries set around Islam means you’re Islamophobic, while the other believes that Islam and its promotion of Sharia law rather than constitutional law is in direct conflict with our American way of life.
Tuberville is asking people to wake up before we become like Europe. He’s sounding the alarm: In America’s 250th birthday year, the enemy is inside the gates.
