On Monday, U.S. Border Patrol and other law enforcement agents executed an immigration raid targeting illegal aliens near a park in Los Angeles, drawing the ire of LA Mayor Karen Bass.

In a video posted to social media, the Democratic mayor is shown at the site of the raid among a crowd of federal agents, apparently trying to thwart the operation.

"They need to leave and they need to leave right now! This is unacceptable!" Bass said in the video posted by The Blaze.

To that, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) had a simple, three-word response: "Lock her up."

According to Fox News, the area of the raid around MacArthur Park was "heavily Hispanic and has a heavy MS-13 influence." No arrests were made.

Mayor Bass' attempt to obstruct immigration enforcement mirrors that of another Democrat official, U.S. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.), who was charged with assaulting a federal agent during an intense confrontation in front of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility earlier in May.
