Lee Brass manufacturer in Anniston closed this week, leaving 128 people unemployed.

Employees were notified on August 9, and the plant closed on August 14.

Lee Brass human resources stated that no one was at the plant and checks would not be passed out. Employees are told to contact Fidelis with any questions.

They advised that M&H Valve, Tyler Union, Talladega Foundry and Kronospan are hiring.

“I know this has been a very challenging and sad week,” Carol with HR stated. “I personally have experienced non-stop tears to uncontrollable anger. The worst part is having to experience this with no notice.”

“But I want to thank you for your contributions, your friendship and the memories,” she added.

Arthur and Alfred Lee founded Lee Brass in 1917.
