Lee Greenwood, a Grammy Award-winning singer, is coming to Hoover on Saturday. Greenwood will be performing at a rally for John Wahl for lieutenant governor.
Greenwood frequently performs at events with President Donald Trump, and his song "God Bless the U.S.A." is Trump's top pick for his walk-out music at events and rallies. Trump has endorsed Wahl for the office.
"We’re honored to have Lee Greenwood standing with us as we fight for our faith, our freedom, our country, and the values that make Alabama great," Wahl wrote in a social media post announcing the event.
"Bring your friends and family, and come be part of something special!" he added.
The event will be at Brock's Gap Brewing Company on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
