A Loxley woman was indicted by a Baldwin County grand jury on multiple charges, including child abuse and human trafficking.
According to the indictment, April Nichole Allen, 35, of Loxley, is accused of beating one child under the age of 18 with a belt across his back and shoulders and causing another child to engage in sexual servitude.
She was also indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled substance and interference with custody.
Allen was booked into the Baldwin County Jail on bonds totaling $235,000. She has pleaded not guilty.
A trial is scheduled for November 9.
