Madison resident and small business owner Aaron Thomas has announced his candidacy in the Alabama House of Representatives District 10 race.

In a press release issued Wednesday, Thomas’ campaign focused on his core personal and governmental ideals.

“I believe in limited government, strong families, and the God-given freedoms that define who we are as Americans,” Thomas said. “These aren’t just talking points to me — they’re the principles that shape how I live, raise my kids, and run my business.”

“We need common-sense representation in Montgomery — putting parents first, defending the Constitution, securing our elections, and cutting through the red tape that slows down small businesses," he added. "I support the rule of law and those who enforce it, responsible budgeting, and making sure state government works for the people — not the other way around.”

“As a husband, father, business owner, and neighbor, I want a future for Alabama where freedom is protected, opportunity is earned, and values still matter,” Thomas continued.

Thomas is pledging his commitment to creating jobs and economic opportunities in Madison County as a small business owner.

He and his family operate four restaurant locations across North Alabama.

House District 10 covers the city of Madison, sections of Huntsville and parts of Madison County.
