The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a strong-arm rape case.
The Sheriff’s Office learned of the alleged incident in May 2024, though it occurred earlier that March. The suspect, Bartolome Sebastian — also known as Miguel Sebastian and Sebastian Miguel Bartolome — allegedly raped a family member, who later gave birth as a result.
Sebastian, 46, is a Guatemalan national believed to be in the United States illegally. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was on First Street in Albertville, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Tehryn Franks at 256-669-4082 or the Sheriff’s Office directly at 256-582-2034.
Sebastian is considered innocent until proven guilty.
