Miss America Abbie Stockard was met with a warm welcome this week as she returned to Auburn University for a visit.
Stockard was cheered on at the Auburn men's basketball game against Arkansas on Wednesday night. She was invited to dance along with her fellow Tiger Paws.
Fans and friends gifted Stockard with greeting cards, specialty cookies, gift baskets and a stuffed Aubie wearing a crown.

Thursday morning started with a breakfast honoring Stockard with faculty, staff, and students at the College of Nursing and Aubie.
Celebrations are expected to continue as Stockard visits the Birmingham area on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday evening, there will be a dinner at Vestavia Country Club followed by a celebration showcase at Samford University.
The Birmingham-area native graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in 2021. After her reign as Miss America, Stockard plans to resume nursing school at Auburn University.
