A Mobile County man, Joseph Colvin, was found dead on Wednesday, facedown in a pond behind his property.
According to WKRG, Colvin, 61, was reported missing on April 15 by his landlord around 5 p.m.
His roommate told Mobile County Sheriff’s Office that he found Colvin’s remains in the pond.
Police told WKRG that Colvin had his passport and $200 in cash in his pocket.
Colvin’s remains were sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy.
