After months of complaints about public transportation in Mobile, city officials are asking residents to share their experiences.
An online survey is open through Jan. 15, 2026.
The purpose of the survey is to help officials understand the community’s views on transit issues and the changes people would like to see.
The survey includes questions about The Wave, Moda!, the Paratransit Mobility Assistance Program (MAP) and MoGo.
The city contracts with The Wave Transit System, which received complaints from riders and bus drivers in May, prompting employees to attend a City Council meeting instead of reporting to work. The workers were seeking respect and improved working conditions.

City leaders hope to improve the transit program by Summer 2026. According to the survey, there will be updated routes and better connections.
