The Mobile Police Department is investigating an assault after two women were hit by a car on June 27.
The incident happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Kayson Court.
The two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Upon investigation, officers determined the driver was involved in an altercation with one of the victims earlier in the evening. The driver then got into her vehicle to leave but struck the two women and a mailbox on her way out.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Mobile Police Department.
