Mobile police are investigating after two men were injured and four vehicles were struck by gunfire, including an MPD vehicle.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 3 a.m. Officers were already in the 1600 block of St. Stephens Road when shots were fired.

Investigators said the shooting was a result of an altercation between two male subjects. Two male victims were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

In all, four unoccupied vehicles were struck.

Police have not released information about the suspects.
