VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is leaving Mobile after 30 years. VT MAE specializes in heavy maintenance, modifications and engineering services.
Operations will be moved to facilities in Florida and Texas, where opportunities will be available for Mobile employees.
“We will manage the transition responsibly while ensuring seamless service continuity for our customers,” Alvin Bass, VT MAE general manager stated. “Thank you, Mobile, for the incredible memories and unwavering partnership. Your support has been instrumental to our journey, and we will always hold this community close to our hearts.”
That transition will take place within the coming months.
In 2023, a Made in Alabama article stated that VT MAE employed 579 full-time employees.
