The Morgan County Courthouse will temporarily close on February 16 for electrical renovations, with the closure expected to last two to four weeks.

Offices in the courthouse will begin relocating on February 9, according to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.

Additionally, the local driver's license office operated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency in Morgan County will be closed during renovations. State IDs, new driver permits and licenses, CDLs, Star IDs and driving tests will be available in neighboring counties.
