The bodies of four adults were found in a Talladega apartment on Saturday.
According to multiple reports, Talladega police said a woman's grandmother requested a welfare check at the location in the 1500 block of Old Shocco Road at 3:30 p.m. She told dispatch she hadn't heard from her family in two days.
Police responded and found three males and one female dead. Agents from the Talladega County Drug and Major Crime Task Force were called to the scene, along with the Talladega County District Attorney's Office and forensic technicians from the JSU Center for Applied Forensics.
The cause of death was not revealed. The bodies were sent to the Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery.
