Birmingham Police believe a shooting that left four people dead and at least 18 others injured Saturday night was targeted.
Multiple shooters opened fire in Five Points South, an outdoor, public area, surrounded by restaurants and bars.
Police found two men and a woman dead on the sidewalk and other victim was pronounced dead at the hospital .
Officer Truman Fitzgerald said many of the victims may have been caught in crossfire. Some of them being treated have life-threatening injuries. Investigators are trying to determine if Glock switches or similar devices werte attached to the firearms used in the shooting.
No one was immediately arrested but police ask anyone with information to come forward.
