The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a Chickasaw man in connection with a possible child porn case.
The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about Terrence Kaleb Handy-Jones.
The ICAC coordinated with Special Operations to execute a search warrant at the suspect’s home. According to jail records, Handy-Jones's home is on North Craft Highway.
Jones, 21, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with five counts of unlawful possession of child pornography and five counts of possession with intent to distribute child pornography. He was booked into the Mobile Metro Jail.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch created the ICAC unit, which is a network of 61 coordinated task forces that investigate and raise public awareness of internet crimes against children.
Handy-Jones is considered innocent until proven guilty.
