The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Investigative Support Division arrested a Spanish Fort man after a three-month-long child sex abuse investigation.

After receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, investigators executed a search warrant in the 13000 block of Antler Hill Road. They found evidence of child sex abuse on electronic devices in the control of 27-year-old Ty Cole Davisson.

The sheriff's office arrested Davisson. He is charged with four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, a class C felony.

Davisson was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on bonds totaling $60,000.

"The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Department of Homeland Security Homeland Security Investigations and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for their assistance in this case," the sheriff's office stated.
