Will Hodo led the charge for the Alabama offense by going 2-for-2 with a pair of homers. One of his two homers was a grand slam, which helped contribute to his seven RBI on the day. Gage Miller hit two homers of his own, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Tyler Fay recorded the win after pitching two innings in relief. Alton Davis came in the game for the final four outs to record his third save of the season.
Alabama’s bats stayed hot in the finale of the doubleheader, resulting in a 10-1 win and a sweep of the doubleheader.
Gage Miller was once again a big contributor to the Crimson Tide offense that recorded 13 hits in game two. He went 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
Greg Farone had a solid outing, tossing five scoreless innings while allowing just three hits. Zane Probst and Jansen Kenty pitched the final four innings to close the game out, striking out five and allowing just one hit.
In the final game of the weekend, Alabama’s offense reached double-digits for the third straight time in the series, earning a 10-5 win while recording 11 hits.
Ian Petrutz led the way for the Crimson Tide offense going 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored. Gage Miller extended his hitting streak to 16 games with an infield single.
Coulson Buchanan recorded his first win of the season after coming in relief in the third inning and recording four outs.
