On Saturday, No. 19 Alabama will host Wisconsin at Bryant-Denny Stadium. This will be the fourth time the two teams have faced each other, the first time in Tuscaloosa.

The Crimson Tide lead the series 2-1, including a 42-10 victory last year in Madison.

Here are a few things to look for on Saturday as Alabama hosts Wisconsin.

  1. Which Bama Team Will Show Up?

The biggest question on Saturday is which Alabama team will show up against Wisconsin? Will we see the team that got embarrassed by Florida State and lacked effort, or will we see the team that played a near-perfect game dominating an inferior opponent in a 73-0 win over Louisiana-Monroe?

  1. Injury Report

There are two certainties on the injury front for Saturday’s game. Wide receiver Ryan Williams is expected to play, coming off a concussion suffered in the opener, and tight end Danny Lewis will miss his third consecutive game due to injury. Three Crimson Tide players are considered questionable for Saturday. Running back Jam Miller, linebacker Jah-Marien Latham and defensive tackle Tim Keenan have all been making progress, according to Kalen DeBoer, but they could be game-time decisions.

  1. Pass Rush

Alabama ranks 124th nationally in sacks and sits last in the SEC, with only one recorded so far this season. The Crimson Tide’s only sack this season came in the season opener against Florida State and was recorded by blitzing safety Keon Saab. Despite not recording a sack last week, the pass rush looked better, forcing quick passes and putting the quarterback under duress.

  1. Protecting the Quarterback

Through two games, the Alabama offensive line has done a decent job keeping Ty Simpson upright, allowing just three sacks in two games. Saturday could be a more challenging task, facing a Wisconsin team that ranks sixth in the nation with eight sacks on the season.

  1. Get the Run Game Going

Without their starting running back for the first two games of the season, the Crimson Tide are middle of the pack in the nation with just under 150 rushing yards per game. Getting the running game going will be crucial in setting up the play-action passing game and keeping the Wisconsin pass rush at bay.

Alabama will host Wisconsin on Saturday at 11 a.m. The game will be televised on ABC.
