A small plane made a "hard landing" into Smith Lake on Saturday, July 23.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol Division, the single-engine plane was forced to ditch on the lake near Crane Creek in Cullman County.
"During the course of the landing, the plane was not severely damaged and there were no reported injuries," ALEA said in a statement.
The cause of the hard landing is under investigation.
