According to the DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency, a Norfolk Southern train experienced a derailment involving five to ten rail cars on Friday morning.
The incident, which reportedly occurred near County Road 761 in Valley Head, saw Norfolk Southern crews and emergency personnel quickly respond and manage the scene.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the derailment.
