Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon, Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft and Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich are headed to Washington on Monday to meet with Alabama's U.S. Senators Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) and Katie Britt (R-Montgomery).
They are expected to discuss topics such as responsible regional growth, critical infrastructure needs, and long-term environmental sustainability.
Kennon posted on his Facebook page Sunday night, "As our communities continue to grow, collaboration at every level -- local, state, and federal -- is more important than ever. These leaders are committed to making sure Baldwin County's priorities are heard loud and clear in Washington."
All three cities will hold municipal elections on August 26. Hellmich was elected in Foley with no opposition for a second term. Kennon faces Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Boyd in Orange Beach. Craft faces Angie Swiger and Ray S. Moore, Jr. in Gulf Shores.
The final day to register to vote is August 11.
