Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl is applauding President Donald Trump for "leading the way" with the release of hostages in Gaza.
Pearl has used his platform to call for peace in Israel. To open his Round of 32 victory press conference over the weekend, the Jewish coach called for the release of Israeli-American soldier Edan Alexander, who is being held hostage in Gaza.
On Monday, Pearl told FNC's "Fox & Friends" that Trump was making it "a very clear decision for Hamas — release the hostages, and there's a chance for peace."
"President Trump is absolutely leading the way, and he's making this a very clear decision for Hamas — release the hostages, and there's a chance for peace," Pearl outlined. "Don't, and there's going to be death and destruction — and it's just going to be awful for everybody."
