The man convicted and sentenced to death for the brutal murder and sexual assault of a child in Phenix City is asking to be executed quickly.
WTVM reports Jeremy Tremaine Williams is asking for a speedy execution. The victim, Kamarie Holland, was only five years old at the time of her death. Her body was found under a tarp at an abandoned house.
The Alabama Court of Appeals affirmed Williams’ conviction and sentencing.
Court records show Williams had a rap sheet including child abuse accusations. He was a suspect in the death of a child in Alaska, but was never charged in that case.
