Friday's second round of the NFL Draft saw one Alabama player selected, bringing the total number of Crimson Tide players selected so far to three.

Germie Bernard was the first and only Alabama player to come off the board on Friday night's second and third rounds after being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the No. 47 overall pick.

Bernard followed head coach Kalen DeBoer from Washington to Alabama after the 2023 season and instantly became a contributor. In his first year with the Crimson Tide, Bernard led the team in receptions with 50. Bernard turned those pass catches into 794 yards and two touchdowns.

In his second year, Bernard became even more of an impact player for the Crimson Tide. Bernard hauled in a team-leading 64 passes for 862 yards and seven touchdowns. In addition to his pass catching, Bernard recorded 101 rushing yards on 18 carries, scoring two touchdowns. Bernard also completed both of his pass attempts for a total of 15 yards.

Rounds four through seven of the NFL Draft will be on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.
