Newest polling out of Alabama's cash-rich upcoming Senate race to replace the outgoing U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) appears to be heading to a runoff election after the Republican primary on May 19.
The leading candidate for the Senate seat remains U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise), followed by state Attorney General Steve Marshall, with former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson trailing. Rodney Walker, Dale Shelton Deas, Jr. and Seth Burton are also chasing the nomination.
Recent polling numbers from Decision Desk HQ show Moore leading with 31% of the vote over Marshall's 19.4%, with less than three weeks to go before the primary. Hudson trails Marshall, claiming just under 16%.
Marshall was the leading candidate in the early days of the race. However, Moore's numbers have steadily climbed since receiving President Donald Trump's endorsement in January.
Hudson has likewise seen an increase in popularity, despite not having previously held public office, drawing in over $1 million in 2026.
Polling does not suggest that any one candidate will receive over 50% of the popular vote in the May 19 primary, meaning the two leading candidates will face one another in a runoff election on June 16.
