Prichard's incumbent Mayor Jimmie Gardner is projected to lose in the runoff election. His challenger, Carletta Davis, is the projected winner.
Davis won 75.42% of the votes. She declared victory and thanked supporters.
For city council runoffs, Traci Hale won over Mario Yow, Sr., with 66% of the votes in District 3.
Teresa Fox Bettis won with 62% of the votes over George McCall, Jr. in District 4.
Roy Smith II won with 52% of the votes over Anthony Barry in District 5.
Provisional ballots will be added to the unofficial election results next Tuesday.
