Alan Sears, founder of Alliance Defending Freedom, recently endorsed Katherine Robertson for Alabama attorney general in the 2026 election.
Sears praised Robertson’s dedication to defending life, liberty, faith and family, highlighting her as a vital leader in the fight for these values.

Now, more than ever, the life movement needs strategic thinkers, powerful messengers, and unwavering champions. I wholeheartedly endorse Katherine in her run for Alabama Attorney General,” Sears said in a statement.
Robertson, who is running as a Republican, currently serves as chief counsel for Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, who is term-limited and running for Senate.
“I am deeply honored to receive Alan’s support. His lifelong commitment to defending life and liberty is inspiring, and I am wholeheartedly committed to serving Alabama with the same dedication and resolve as Attorney General,” Robertson said.

According to a press release, the endorsement by Sears is personal and not an organizational endorsement by Alliance Defending Freedom.
