On Thursday, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) praised Operation Epic Fury and the ongoing strikes against Iranian targets, while arguing against isolationism in a video call sent to reporters.

"Our military has begun conducting a successful operation, taking out Iran's leadership and nuclear capabilities," said Tuberville. "All of you know by now that I'm 100% MAGA and I'm America First, through and through."

"But being MAGA isn't about being an isolationist. It's about using a big stick to punish people who chant Death to America. And that's exactly what radical Islamists in Iran have been doing for the last 47 years, since Jimmy Carter handed the Iranian government to Islamic terrorists on a silver platter," he added.

According to the senator, Iran and its proxies have attacked U.S. forces over 180 times since 2023.

"I don't support endless wars, and I haven't since I came to the U.S. Senate, but I'm all for putting our enemies on notice," Tuberville explained. "Unlike every forever war from the last 50 years, President Trump has been clear about the goals of this ongoing operation. We are seeking to destroy Iran's missiles, annihilate their navy, prevent their terrorist proxies from destroying the world, and ensure Iran can never, never, never obtain a nuclear weapon and hold the world hostage."

Tuberville asserted that the Islamic regime and its radical adherents "want to kill us all."

"As Secretary Hegseth has said, we didn't start this war, but we're going to finish it," stated Tuberville. "These deranged terrorists cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons because they are Islamic radicals who want to kill us all. President Trump took out their nuclear facilities last year, but they were rebuilding as fast as they could."

"We tried diplomacy, but as the old saying goes, you can't negotiate with terrorists, and that's what these people are, terrorists motivated by their radical Islamic beliefs," added Tuberville.
