The Rainsville community celebrated a World War II veteran on his 100th birthday.
Dr. Marvin Barron, a World War II veteran and retired dentist, had a birthday party at his home on Sunday.
The World War II veteran is still active in his church and community.
The Auburn University graduate started his own dental practice in Rainsville, where he worked for 60 years before retiring.
