A Roanoke man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into child pornography.

Timothy Matthew Sanders, 47, is charged with four counts of possession of child porn with the intent to disseminate.

According to court documents, prosecutors have accused Sanders of having multiple images of young children being subjected to sexual activity. The complaint states two of the girls were under the age of six, and two others were under the ages of eight and 10. The image of the 10-year-old girl depicts her being raped.

Sanders is being held in the Randolph County Jail on bonds totaling $200,000. He is considered innocent until proven guilty.

The court has set a preliminary hearing in the case for December 2 in the courtroom of Judge Amy Newsome.
