The Rocket City PrideFest is returning for another year to Huntsville's Orion Amphitheater, with event organizers promising a weekend filled with "local drag show royalty and activism."

The event is being billed as "family friendly" with no age limit set to attend, despite Rocket City Pride posting that it is "seeking entertainers ready to shake it" for all ages.

"Rocket City PrideFest 2025 is more than a celebration; it's a declaration," the organization wrote on Facebook. "In a political climate where LGBTQIA+ rights are being challenged, we are standing firm, loud and unapologetic. This year's PrideFest honors our community's resilience, joy and power."

"Reminding the world that we are still here, still thriving and not backing down. Join us for music, art, drag and activism as we come together to celebrate our identities, amplify our voices and take pride, PERIODT," the group added.

Rocket City Pride also hosts a number of other events throughout the year, including Rocket City Pride Night with Huntsville City FC, Rocket City Pride Pageants for drag performers and an "inclusive prom for adults."
