One of U.S. Rep. Barry Moore's (R-Enterprise) opponents in the Republican U.S. Senate primary has endorsed Moore for the GOP nomination.
Businessman Rodney Walker, who finished fourth in the race, issued a statement backing Moore, who is headed to a runoff with former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson. Walker cited the congressman's background as a small business owner and his Christian values
"I am honored to have Rodney Walker’s endorsement,” said Moore. “Rodney understands what it means to build something from the ground up, and his support means a great deal to me as we continue this campaign. Together, we will continue fighting for small business owners, working families, producers, and rural Alabamians.”
“Rodney’s endorsement is a sign that our campaign is bringing conservatives together to win this race and that we are building a coalition that’s ready to make Washington a little more like Alabama,” he added.
