Rodney Walker officially qualified on Wednesday as a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.
Alabama has an open Senate seat due to U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) running for governor instead of re-election.
Walker, a Lineville businessman and cattle farmer, is the owner of Patriot Fuels USA, Walker Lands and Cattle, and Patriot Fueling Centers.
“I’ve spent months traveling Alabama and talking to voters who feel ignored by career politicians,” Walker said. “This campaign is about showing up, listening, and fighting for the people of this state. No matter how cold it gets, no matter how dark it gets, I will be there for you, because you are my people, and I don’t give up on my people.”
